The Show House Project
We were proud and honored to be chosen for a space in the 2023 Mansion in May, “Three Fields”.
The Mansion in May Designer Showhouse is a fundraiser for the Morristown Medical Center Women’s Association and is an event that is put on once every two years. This year’s fundraising amounted to $1.65 million dollars and contributed to the expansion and modernization of the Gagnon Institute of Bioskills Training and Innovation at Morristown Medical Center, which offers physicians, nurses, medical students, and other health professionals a safe and controlled environment in which to practice clinical skills without risk of patient harm through simulation training.
For the 2023 showhouse, our challenge was to bring a second floor hallway to life.
We named this space “A Walk in the Clouds” and created an environment that felt as though one was enveloped by the sky using the Cloud Toile mural wall covering from Schumacher. We also created two window seat reading nooks and added comfy cushions, pillows, and window treatments. All of the decorative elements of this space highlight the the sky, clouds, and trees with the colors of blues, aquas, grays, and greens. See our before and after photos.
